Deep frozen sliced carrots are prepared from natural developed carrots complying with the characteristics of the species:

The whole carrots are cut in slices perpendicular to the axe. The slices have a thickness of 2 up to 10 mm; the diameter is maximally 35 mm. The cut is flat or undulated.
95 % in mass of the carrot slices is of the declared calibre. The diameter of the sliced carrots is defined as the smallest diameter of the slice measured with a vernier calliper.
