Broccoli

The deep frozen broccoli florets are prepared from the immature heads of the plants complying with the characteristics of the species:

 

• Brassica oleracea var. cymosa L.

 

The broccoli heads are cleaned and separated into florets with a diameter of 20/40mm or 40/60mm. The size of a floret is the smallest diameter of the head of a thawed floret measured with a vernier-calliper - with a tolerance of 10 % in weight for oversized or undersized florets.
